Never disparage a former employer, supervisor, or co-worker during an interview – it never reflects well on you, and your interviewer will always question whether you were the problem. Try these options:  

  1. Instead of focusing on conflicts, quantify accomplishments. 

  2. Instead of placing blame, explain what you learned. 

  3. Instead of complaining about a toxic culture, talk about the lack of fit.
